This maker’s project bag was made in limited quantity especially for Indie Untangled in October 2025. This is one of the last two of our batch of eleven project tote bags.
Combining my handwoven fabric with waxed canvas and leather handles, it is both beautiful and functional. The outside features a zip pocket and slip pocket. The interior is lined with natural linen and includes another generous pocket. Top cinch fabric is also handwoven. I wove the drawstring especially for this bag. Completely one of a kind and fully infused with the spirit of handmade.
The woven fabric is made with indigo-dyed yarn combined with rust and natural white cotton. It is woven in log cabin, a weaving pattern where alternating dark and light ends create block patterns - “weaving magic,” as I call it.
Made in collaboration with Handmade by Kacie, who brought her eye for design, meticulous sewing skills and bag-making expertise to the project.
