Diana Parrington is a weaver based in Beacon, New York. She designs and weaves functional cloth for use within the home, all with a color-focused, clean and modern aesthetic.

I call my woven work “Line Study Textiles” because it reflects my investigation of the literal lines in weaving. How does a single stripe affect the piece? What will happen if a set of colors are used sequentially? I invite randomness as part of this exploration - arriving at the loom with a plan and color palette, while remaining open to changes as the work progresses.
