Three notions pouches in indigo ikat - stripes, speckles, and color blocks. These pouches are part of an annual series made with special lengths of my handwoven fabric. The designs result from playful experiments on a warp tied with resists before immersion in the indigo vat. A modern interpretation of an ancient technique.
