This maker’s project bag was made in limited quantity especially for Wool Works in July 2026.
Combining my handwoven fabric with waxed canvas and leather handles, it is both beautiful and functional. The outside features a zip pocket and slip pocket. The interior is lined with natural linen and includes another generous pocket. Top cinch fabric is also handwoven. Completely one of a kind and fully infused with the spirit of handmade.
The woven fabric is made with brightly colored cotton in turned twill. I wove with shades of turquoise and accents of pale orange. We paired the cloth with vibrant teal waxed canvas, leather handles, and a teal accent on the front zipper pull.
Made in collaboration with Handmade by Kacie, who brought her eye for design, meticulous sewing skills and bag-making expertise to the project.
