Windowpane in Curry Dip
This towel is from the human-made windowpane series, where I explored ways to make the handwoven nature of the cloth apparent through its visual pattern. The changing sizes of squares and rectangles across the cloth are the result.
Woven in shades of brass, curry and bright blue on a cream-colored background. Both hems have a “curry dip” with a band of solid curry-colored cotton. Selvedges are a bright blue accent. The handwoven hangtab is designed to match.
Coordinates nicely with Cream Dip or the any of the towels in the Human Made Windowpane series.
Sturdy enough for daily use in the kitchen or bathroom.
