Windowpane in Purple
This towel is from the human-made windowpane series, where I explored ways to make the handwoven nature of the cloth apparent through its visual pattern. The changing sizes of squares and rectangles across the cloth are the result.
Woven in shades of plum, deep purple, brass and curry on a cream-colored background. Selvedges are a bright blue accent. The handwoven hangtab is designed to match.
Coordinates nicely with Windowpane in Purple Stripe or the any of the towels in the Human Made Windowpane series.
