This towel is from the human-made windowpane series, where I explored ways to make the handwoven nature of the cloth apparent through its visual pattern. The changing sizes of squares and rectangles across the cloth are the result.
Woven in multicolored deep shades on a cream-colored background. Selvedges are a bright blue accent. The handwoven hangtab is designed to match.
